Homemade Ketchup

INGREDIENTS

1 small onion, diced

2 granny smith apples, peeled & diced

2 cloves garlic, pressed

½ tsp sea salt

¼ tsp allspice

¼ tsp cinnamon

2 pinches of ground cloves

¼ tsp ground or freshly pressed ginger

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

¼ cup water

6 oz tomato paste


INSTRUCTIONS

Place all ingredients into Quick Cooker (or slow cooker) and stir to combine. Set slow cooker to low and cook for 4 hrs. Allow to cool slightly then transfer to food processor or vitamix blender and blend until smooth.


Transfer to glass jars and cool to room temp before storing in fridge for up to 3 weeks. If it separates, shake or stir before using.
